Health Reimbursement Arrangement – Radiology Partners

Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)

Extra funds to cover your out-of-pocket health care expenses

If you are enrolled in the HDHP HRA 4000 plan, you have a great option to get extra funds you can use for health expenses like copays, coinsurance, and deductible.

Generally speaking, an HRA is a smart option because it works as a reimbursement account alongside your medical plan to help you pay for a wide range of health expenses.

How it works

HRA features

  • The HRA is only available if you are enrolled in the HDHP HRA 4000 medical plan.
  • RP will give you $1,000* to help you pay for eligible out-of-pocket expenses regardless of your coverage tier.
  • You will receive a VitaFlex Debit Card to use to pay for qualified expenses for you or your dependents.
  • Unused money will not roll over to future years.
  • If you leave the practice, any unused funds will be forfeited.

*HRA is entirely funded by Radiology Partners.

Rules to keep in mind

  • It’s 100% employer-funded, rules prohibit teammate contributions.
  • It’s 100% tax-free. HRA reimbursements are excluded from your gross income.

Get More Tax Savings With an FSA

You can have both an HRA and a Health Flexible Spending Account (FSA) at the same time but you can’t be reimbursed from both accounts for the same expense. Generally, the HRA is used first until the account is depleted.
