Radiology Partners Voluntary Short-Term Disability (STD)

Short-Term Disability (STD) is a voluntary benefit that can help supplement your income because it pays you a benefit if you are temporarily unable to work for reasons like:

  • Pregnancy issues and childbirth recovery
  • Prolonged illness or injury
  • Surgery and recovery time

How Short Term Disability Works

Radiology Partners Practice-Provided Long-Term Disability (LTD)

The practice provides long-term disability benefits to teammates earning $130,000 per year or less. This coverage replaces part of the monthly income in case you experience longer-term medical issues such as:

  • Debilitating illness (cancer, heart disease, etc.)
  • Serious injuries (accident, etc.)
  • Heart attack, stroke, mental disorders

Radiology Partners Voluntary Long-Term Disability (LTD)

Physicians and teammates who make more than $130,000 annually can purchase LTD insurance to replace up to 60% of their income, up to a monthly maximum benefit of $15,000. Benefits begin after 90 days of accident injury or sickness.
